1874(Sep 26). Cover to Livorno with fine 23 soldi three colour franking of 1876-1874 3s green, 5s red and 15s brown all tied by neat VARNA thimble cds's. Arrival (Oct 1st) on reverse of attractive cover. Addressee's name has been redrawn. Scott 2, 3, 5.

1880 (6 Dic). Canee to Marseille. Registered envelope tied cds with "charge" pmk of Canea (Austrian Office in Greece). A beautiful rarity. Addressed to Marseille/France where arrived P.D. in Smyrna where taken by French boat (Sc 7F horiz pair).

AUSTRIAN LEVANT-ARMENIA. 1864. Prepaid entire letter written in Armenian to Smirne from Constantinople with despatch cds in blue and straight line "FRANCO", blue arrival cds on reverse.

1865. Janina to Wien. E. franked with 10 s. blue (x 4 stamps). (Sc.Lomb.Ven. 18) cancelled "JANINA" c.d.s.. Light horizontal crease, otherwise very fine item.

1874. Salonique to Wien. Envelope franked with single 15 sld. coarse print (Sc.5), tied by "Salonich/2 Jun" (**) (Vlastos nº2) and also alongside. Very fine.
