1882 (Dec 6). Unusual cover to Dresden franked by 2x1d red from different plate numbers, three Postal Fiscal 1d lilac (wmk'd orb) and 1d purple wmk'd anchor all tied by Mark Lane duplexes. SG 43,F22,F23.

1872 (Feb 7). Entire letter to Buenos Aires, Argentina endorsed by British Packet franked by lower marginal inscription "One shilling/per label" 1871 1s green pl.5 tied by Dundee-114 duplex. Unusual. SG 117.

1872. E.L. to LISBON franked 6d. plus 1d. Late Fee cancelled GLASGOW '159' duplex. Found to be overweight and stamped INSUFFICIENTLY PREPAID. On arrival charged 180 reis.

1797. Entire letter from London to "palais Ferdinand, Brunswick" with Foreign Office red despatch cds and mss "12", manuscript notation on reverse "Forw'd by Messrs T Coutts & Co". Scarce entire.

1791 (26 May). "Aston House" to a Poste Restante address at Spa, Belgium. E.L. showing various rate notations and endorsed "If not at Amsterdam please direct under cover..." (to an address in London). Interesting.

1881 (16 June). London to Naples. Envelope bearing Inland Revenue 1d. (3) tied by "N.W. / 8" duplex, rare use of fiscals on foreign mail.

1882 (28 Oct). London to Boston, U.S. with 1/2d. green in combination with Inland Revenue 1d. lilac (2) used for postage, cancelled by "E.C./56" duplex.

1864. (Aug 15) Southampton to Le Havre/France. E.L. franked perf 14 1d red plate 76 STRIP OF FOUR (S.G. 43), tied French romboid "1769" dots (***), red box P.D. and octagonal d.s. Superb condition.

1824/25. Liverpool to Lisbon. E.L. with market prices reports, with oval "C(orreio) Est(rangeiro) de N(avio)" and "160" charge. both endorsed.

1823(4 Feb). Dublin to Oporto (27 Feb). 1ºE.L. red box "Paid/Feb4/1823" and oval "24/Lisboa/2" charged 2/// and 350+70= total 420 reis. Fine and scarce mail item.

1879. (14 Nov.) 2d registered stationery envelope with 1d red, 2d blue, 3d rose, and 6d grey brown from London to Buenos Aires, the adhesives cancelled by circular barred obliterator, 2d registration by boxed arrival d.s., slight toning, and minor faults
